Clinical allergy specialists - which include technicians and technologists - play an important role in any medical setting, as they work to identify, diagnose, and treat diseases and various other conditions.

The clinical allergy specialists at United Allergy Services offer specialized allergy-related diagnoses and management tools that help both our patients and our team. These employees are mainly responsible for offering custom-designed antigen therapy medications that help patients become desensitized to allergens.

On any given day, a clinical allergy specialist may be asked to perform a number of duties, from providing family-centered patient care and educating patients on how to administer medication to ensuring that patients fill out all the appropriate paperwork and maintaining inventory levels.

In order to be eligible for one of our clinical allergy jobs, you must have:

• Strong computer skills in a Windows environment
• Bachelor of Science degree
• 1+ year of experience working in a health-related environment
• Ability to use basic productivity software suite of programs for word processing, spreadsheet and e-mail, along with specific database and back office software
• Ability to find solutions to difficult or uncomfortable situations in a way that addresses the needs of all parties
• Ability to understand another’s point of view and look at a situation with another perspective
• Ability to display positive work habits
• Promote a professional work environment that is comfortable for all patients
