"I love the relationship that is formed with patients as they travel on this journey of building up tolerance to environmental allergies. I have a passion for helping the patients and watching their lives change while being treated. Being able to enjoy the outdoors and do the thing they weren't able to do in the past. I love the thank you's that I receive at the end of treatment because their life has truly changed. Instilling our RISE UP values in everyone we treat."
- Nikinji Macon, Clinical Allergy Specialist
Clinical allergy specialists - which include technicians and technologists - play an important role in any medical setting, as they work to identify, diagnose, and treat diseases and various other conditions.
The clinical allergy specialists at United Allergy Services offer specialized allergy-related diagnoses and management tools that help both our patients and our team. These employees are mainly responsible for offering custom-designed antigen therapy medications that help patients become desensitized to allergens.
On any given day, a clinical allergy specialist may be asked to perform a number of duties, from providing family-centered patient care and educating patients on how to administer medication to ensuring that patients fill out all the appropriate paperwork and maintaining inventory levels.
